摘　　要：自二十世纪六十年代以来,美国华裔文学研究就在美国文学研究中占据一席之地,谭恩美、汤婷婷等知名华裔作家及其作品被国内外学者广泛关注并深入研究。我国在美国华裔文学领域的研究已硕果累累,研究多从后殖民主义、女性主义、存在主义等理论维度展开。论文旨在解读美籍华裔作家伍慧明小说《望岩》中所蕴含的创伤叙事主题与话语,探讨华裔群体作为少数族裔在宗主文化的排挤和排斥下所面临的困境,以及他们对身份认同的渴望与自我救赎的决心和努力。Studies on Chinese American literature have gained profound achievements in the studies of American literature. The works of some famous Chinese - American writers, such as Amy Tan, Maxine Hong Kingston, have drawn wide attention from the scholars home and abroad. The studies of Chinese American literature in China have been carried out from various theoretical perspectives, including post - colonialism, feminism, existentialism, and so on. This paper aims at analyzing the traumatic theme and discourse in ＂ Steer Toward Rock＂ written by Chinese American Writer Fae Myenne Ng, in order to explore the dilemma experienced by Chinese Americans under the oppression and exclusion of mainstream culture, as well as their determination and efforts to gain their identity and self - salvation.
