摘  要:18世纪中后期,作为中国17世纪的百科全书《物理小识》东传日本后引起了日本知识界的广泛重视和推崇,对当时日本的洋学主流——兰学学派产生了重大的积极影响。《物理小识》所主张的自然科学观、经验实证研究法促成了兰学"条理思想"的成型和"实学"认知论的发展;而文中有关"宇宙""真理""矛盾""石油""望远镜""体质"等新式科技词汇的日译也为日本近代学术用语的生成与建构打下了基础。兰学学派对《物理小识》的引用、模仿和阐发,表明了中国曾是日本汲取自然科学知识、发展近代科技的重要窗口,这是不应该被忽略的历史事实。During the middle and late 18th century, Notes on Physics, an encyclopedic work of China in the 17th century, had received wide attention and admiration in the Japanese intellectual circles since it spread eastward to Japan. It had a significant impact on the Dutch learning in Japan, the mainstream of Japanese Western learning. The natural sciences and empirical positivist approach, advocated by Notes on Physics, facilitated the formation of "logical thinking" and the development of the cognitive theory of "practical scholarship" of Japanese Dutch learning. In addition, the Japanese translation of the new terms of science and technology, such as "universe", "truth", "contradiction", "oil", "telescope", "physique" and so on, laid a foundation for the creation and construction of the modem academic language in Japan. The citation, imitation and elucidation of Notes on Physics by the Japanese Dutch learning school indicate that China used to be an important channel for Japan to obtain the knowledge of natural sciences and develop modem science and technology. It is a historical fact that should not be ignored.
