摘  要:表达与理解是言语交际中密不可分的两个有机组成部分,它们共同构成话语发生和理解的完整认知过程。完整的语用能力研究至少应该包含说话人的表达和听话人的理解两个方面。语用能力的认知过程是复杂的,贯穿于说话人和听话人双方为实现其交际意图而进行的选择过程中。本文以关联理论为基础,从说话人和听话人的视角论述语用能力从表达到理解的认知过程,提供一个新的研究视角,力求对语用能力提出更为合理的解释。Expressiveness and interpretation are unquestionably two parts in verbal conversations. They jointly construct a complete cognitive process of verbal understanding. A complete study of pragmatic competence involves at least the speaker’s expressiveness and the hearer’ s interpretation. The cognitive process of pragmatic competence is very complicated and it runs through the selective process where both the speaker and the hearer fulfill their communicative intention. Based upon Rele-vance Theory, this paper, from the perspective of the speaker and the hearer, discussed the cognitive process of pragmatic competence from the expressiveness to interpretation so as to provide a new re-search perspective and offer some more reasonable explanations for pragmatic competence.
