摘　　要：西柏坡精神蕴含着共产党人建设富强、民主、文明、和谐新中国的伟大理想,也深刻体现了中国人民企求洗刷百年屈辱,追求自由、平等、公正、法治文明社会的顽强信念。西柏坡精神是中国精神在中国民主革命实践的集中体现,深刻凝聚着中国共产党人勇往直前的革命精神和大公无私的政治情怀。西柏坡精神是涵养社会主义核心价值观的重要精神源泉,是推动社会主义核心价值观建设的强大精神动力,更是培育和践行社会主义核心价值观的有效文化载体。培育和践行社会主义核心价值观必须大力弘扬西柏坡精神。Xibaipo Spirit contains the Chinese Communist Party？ s great ideal to build a prosper-ous , democratic, civilized and harmonious new China. Meanwhile it also reflects Chinese people？ s strong faith to wash away a century of humiliation, to pursue a society of freedom, equality, justice, nomocracy and civilization. Xibaipo Spirit is the embodiment of the spirit of China in the Chinese dem-ocratic revolution practice, the condensation of the Chinese Communists^ revolutionary spirit and self-less political feelings. Xibaipo Spirit is an important spiritual source to conserve the socialist core val-ues, and a strong spiritual power to promote its construction. What’ s more, Xibaipo Spirit is an ef-fective cultural carrier to cultivate and practice the socialist core values. Xibaipo Spirit must be carried forward vigorously for the purpose of cultivating and practicing the socialist core values.
