摘　　要：通过对比纽曼的《大学的理念》的三个不同译本,分析造成该译本可读性障碍的诸多因素,如语言拖沓累赘、语义含糊不清、关联随意承接、行文条理紊乱、引文牵强突兀、修辞意兴索然等。译者在翻译演说体名著时,需要排除这些障碍因素,注意译本的可读性,既要忠实于原文,又要考虑读者的感受。By comparing three different translations of John Henry Newman's The Idea of a University,we emphatically analyzed the factors forming the obstacles of the readability of the translation,which will be helpful for the reference for analyzing the translation or the original.
