澳大利亚英语的文化特色及其影响因素——基于Convincing Ground语言资料的分析

摘　　要：澳大利亚英语是英语语言的一种变体。自从澳大利亚在18世纪末成为英国殖民地以来,澳大利亚英语历经二百多年的发展,融合了当地原住民的语言和文化,以及后期移民过来的其他国家的语言与文化,现在已经成为独具特色的一种英语变体。本文结合澳大利亚原住民的历史作品Convincing Ground中的语言资料,探析澳大利亚英语的特点及其所反映的澳大利亚文化,以帮助英语学习者提高跨文化意识和跨文化交际能力。Australian English is one of the varieties of British English. Since Australia became an English colony in the late eighteenth century, Australian English has developed for over two hundred years with integration of indigenous languages and cultures as well as other immigrants,languages and cultures subsequently. Nowadays, Australian English is a kind of English variant with its unique features. Based on the language materials in the historical works Convincing Ground, this paper will try to explore the cultural features and influencing factors of Australian English and its culture for the purpose of raising cross-cultural awareness and competence of language learners.
