试论契诃夫晚期小说的开放式结局

摘　　要：契诃夫在创作晚期采用"留白"的艺术手法设置了不少戛然而止却意味深长的开放式结局,后者通过"完形心理学"(格式塔心理学)理论作用于读者,故而其开放式结局实现了作家的文学使命。本文归纳了契诃夫晚期小说的开放式结局,总结了开放式结局的表现,从社会及个人两个方面分析了开放式结局的成因,最后从文学以及社会评价的角度解读开放式结局的意义。Chekhov set a lot of open endings in his later novels, which stopped abruptly but significantly, and these open endings work on readers through the ＂Gestalt Psycology＂ theory. As a result, the open endings of Chekhov accomplished his literary mission. In this article, the author concluded these open endings in Chekhov＇ s later novels, summarized their expressions, analyzed their social and personal causes, and finally unscrambled their social and literary meaning.
