摘　　要：教材在教学中起着核心作用,教材中所包含的观念会影响学习者的思想和行为。《全新版大学英语综合教程》第1-2-3册中的课文、幽默故事、词汇例句和课后练习中,在男女人物的选择和评价上,隐含着性别歧视现象。这种性别歧视现象会逐渐渗透到学生的大脑中,进而影响他们的思想和行为,给他们的认知心理发展造成误导性障碍。教材编写者们有责任和义务避免教材中出现性别歧视现象,以使教材更加完善。Textbooks play a central role in the course of teaching and learning. Ideas contained in textbooks may affect learners＇ thoughts and behavior. New College English Integrated Course Books 1-2-3 have implicit gender discrimination in texts, humorous stories, language studies and exercises, in the aspect of proportion and evaluation of male-female characters. The gender discrimination phenomenon will gradually infiltrate into students＇ brain, affect their thoughts and behaviors and cause misleading obstacles to the development of their cognitive psychology： Textbook writers have a responsibility and duty to avoid gender discrimination in textbooks so as to make textbooks perfect.
