摘　　要：微学习日渐趋热,在优化教师课堂教学、提高学生学习效果、促进自主学习能力提高等方面发挥着重要作用。自主学习是大学生英语学习的重要途径,同时,微学习为大学生进行英语自主学习提供了新的技术手段。因此,有必要通过对微学习资源的内容进行筛选、设计,并辅之以激励的举措、共享的理念,最大化发挥微学习的驱动力量,培养和提升大学生英语自主学习能力。The Micro -learning is gaining more and more popularity nowadays and it plays rather a crucial role in optimizing a teaeher＇s classroom teaching ad well as improving the students＇ studying effects. It can stimulate the studentsj learning habits, further enable them to study and assess by themselves automatically, thus realizing ＂ Studying promotes abilities and vice versa＂. Taking Micro - learning as the entry point, this paper analyzes its relationship with the college students＇autonomous learning in English, and then puts forward practical and effective strategies in cultivating the college students＇autonomous learning ability.
