摘　　要：近年来,世界主义又成为一个前沿理论话题。从世界主义的视角讨论文学作品可以重新审视文学传统,并在全球化语境下观照文学想象的世界主义元素。帕泰尔的专著《世界主义与文学想像》就是其中之一,该书成功地展示了作为文学批评视角的世界主义研究范式及其意义。Cosmopolitanism is now understood as a perspective that reevaluates literary traditions in a global context so as to single out various cosmopolitan elements behind literary imagination. A case in point is Cyrus R. K. Patell＇s Cosmopolitanism and the Literary Imagination which examines a set of texts to cultivate cosmopolitan reading practices.
