摘  要:目的:采用磁共振成像(magnetic resonance imaging,MRI)对阿尔茨海默病(Alzheimer’s disease,AD)发病进程中垂体大小有无变化进行初步研究。方法:采集正常对照(normal control,NC)组41例、轻度认知损害(mild cognitive impairment,MCI)组36例、AD组41例共118例受试者颅脑MRI图像,测量每例垂体前后径、宽径、高径、体积、垂体柄长径并进行标化,采用统计学方法进行组间比较。结果:垂体标化前后径MCI组大于NC组(t=3.882,P=0.000)及AD组(t=5.533,P=0.000)。垂体标化体积MCI组大于NC组(t=2.192,P=0.030)及AD组(t=2.223,P=0.028)。垂体标化宽径、标化高径及标化垂体柄长径MCI组与NC组,MCI组与AD组组间无统计学差异(P>0.05)。结论:MCI患者垂体大于正常人及AD患者,推测在AD发病进程中的MCI期可能存在垂体增大。Objective:To preliminarily study size alterations of pituitary gland in patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD)process by MRI. Methods:Brain MRI scans in total of 118 subjects including 41 normal controls(NC group),36 patients with mild cognitive impair ment(MCI group) and 41 patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD group) were obtained. Dimensions of anteroposterior,width,height,length of the stalk of the pituitary gland and the volume were measured and standardized,and then group comparisons were statistically obtained. Results:The standardized anteroposterior diameter of the pituitary gland in MCI group were larger than that in NC group(t=3.882,P=0.000)and in AD group(t=5.533,P=0.000). The standardized volume of the pituitary gland in MCI group were larger than in NC group(t=2.192,P=0.030)and in AD group(t=2.223,P=0.028). There was no difference in the standardized width,height and length of the stalk of the pituitary gland between NC group and MCI group(P〉 0.05),There were no differences in the standardized width,height and length of the stalk of the pituitary gland between MCI group and AD group(P〉0.05). Conclusion:The size of the pituitary gland in MCI is larger than that in NC and in AD,suggesting that the pituitary gland could increase slightly in MCI stage of AD process.
