摘  要:介绍了一种为行波管设计的宽脉宽固态浮动板调制器。利用RC网络实现脉冲延时,防止脉冲重叠;利用单稳态触发器将脉冲信号转换成脉冲串,解决了宽脉宽在隔离脉冲变压器上传输困难的问题;利用MOSFET极间电容充电延时特性,构建脉冲恢复电路,解决了变压器频繁通断电容易导致变压器损坏的问题。最后,完成了本设计电路制作和测试,验证了设计方案的可行性。Here,we addressed the major technical problems in applications of space traveling wave tube (STWT),including the overlap of pulses,difficulty of wide-pulse transmission and damage of transformercaused by frequent on/off switching.The possible solutionswas a novel type of wide-pulse,solid-state floating-board modulator,comprisingtheRC network,mono-stable triggers and recovery circuit with MOSFETs as switches.To be specific,the RC circuit delays the pulses,effectively preventing pulses from overlapping;the mono-stable triggers convert pulses into pulse-strings,simplyovercomingthe transmission difficulty of wide-pulseon the isolated pulse transformer;and the charge-delay characteristics of the inter-electrode distributed capacitance of MOSFET in the recovery circuit reliably protect the transformer from the damage caused by frequent on/off switching.As shown in the test and simulated results,the prototyped modulator was a total solution of the above mentioned problems.
