摘　　要：马洛《马耳他的犹太人》具有三层意义,即政治的、宗教的与戏剧艺术的,分别批判了马基雅维里主义、表现了反犹主义倾向,以及塑造了具有深刻矛盾性的富于激情的人物性格。该剧对于莎士比亚的《威尼斯商人》有着某种直接影响。Christopher Marlowe＇s The Jew of Malta is layered with three contributions to politics, religion and theatrical arts, which respectively criticizes Machiavellianism, expresses anti - semitism tendency and portrays passionate characters with profound contradiction. The play also influenced William Shakespeare＇s The Merchant of the Venice in many aspects.
