摘　　要：近年来,伴随着我国高校招生规模的快速增加,高校课堂教学单位授课班级规模普遍较大,导致教学质量呈现下降趋势。小班化教学在西方高校中早已普遍实行,但在我国仍是一种全新的教学改革策略。利用小班化教学的多方面优势,依托中国矿业大学安全工程学科丰富的教学资源、充足的师资队伍和先进的教学科研平台,探讨专业核心"矿井瓦斯防治"课程实施小班化教学的必要性与可行性,并针对课程特点提出了小班化教学的对策与实施方案。论文研究对稳步提升"矿井瓦斯防治"专业课程教学质量,深化中国矿业大学专业课程改革具有重要意义。With the rapid expansion of universities＇ enrollment in recent years,the class size of classroom teaching unit has continuously enlarged which caused a reduction of teaching quality.Small-class teaching system,a new teaching reform strategy in China,has been commonly practiced in Western colleges and universities for a long period of time.In light of the advantages of small-class teaching,rich teaching resources,abundant teaching staff and advanced teaching and scientific research platforms in safety engineering subject of China University of Mining and Technology（CUMT）,the authors discuss the feasibility and necessity of smallclass teaching practiced in the professional core curriculum ＂Coal Mine Gas Prevention and Control＂.They put forward the countermeasures and implementation plan of the small-class teaching system.This paper is of great significance in the steady improvement of the core curriculum＇s teaching quality,and the deepening of professional courses reform.
