摘　　要：《中国文论:英译与评论》是宇文所安教授对中国古代文论的解读,由于"前理解"的不同,这种"解读"必然是对中国古代文论的变异。知识谱系上,零散性的文论被系统化地规整;概念范畴上,模糊性的文论被明晰化地界定;表达方式上,评点式批评被科学化解读。从而为跨文明文学理论交流的变异性提供了一个典型文本。Chinese Literary Theory ： English Translation With Criticism is professor Stephen Owen 5 s interpretation of Chinese ancient literature theory. Due to the different “pre-understanding” ,his “interpretation” is inevitably a variation of Chinese ancient literature theory. Whether from knowledge pedigree, or from conceptual category, or from means of expression, his work provides a typical text on the variation in the communication of inter-civilization literary theories.
