摘　　要：本文从近年来来华留学生数量统计和留学生特点入手,深入了解了留学生的需求,指出了留学生入馆教育的必要性,提出了传统新生入馆教育与留学生特点相结合,重视多媒体等技术和英文网络图书馆,大力发展自助化图书馆等方法,势必能取得更好的教育效果。This article starts from the statistics and characteristic of international students to deeply understand the needs of students, points out the necessity of students＇library entry education. Putsforwards methods to achieve better educaiton results containing a way of a range of traditional freshmen hbrary entryeducation and characteristics of international students, combining the multimedia technology and Eng-lish network library with vigorous development in self-supportlibrary.
