摘  要:CELF(CUG-BP,Elav-like family)家族作为RNA结合蛋白广泛存在于动物和植物中,其在细胞核和胞质内调控多个转录后RNA加工过程,包括前体mRNA的选择性剪接、mRNA降解和翻译等.CELF家族在人和其他哺乳动物中有6个成员,分别是:CELF1~6,根据进化关系可分为两个亚家族,CELF1~2和CELF3~6亚家族.CELF介导的转录后调控对早期胚胎发育、配子形成以及肌肉和神经系统功能都很重要.此外,CELF还与强直性肌营养不良、免疫细胞功能、癌症发生等密切相关.本文对CELF家族成员的生物学功能以及CELF对人类疾病影响进行了综述.The CUG-BP ,Elav-like family (CELF) of RNA-binding proteins are found widely in animals and plants. CELF proteins regulate several post-transcriptional steps of RNA processing in the nucleus and cytoplasm, including pre-mRNA alternative splicing, mRNA decay and translation. In human and other mammals, the CELF family has six members : CELF1, CELF2, CELF3, CELF4, CELF5 and CELF6. According to evolutionary relationship, CELF family can be divided into two distinct subfamilies: CELF1 -2 and CELF3 -6. CELF proteins play important roles in early embryonic development, gametogenesis as well as muscle and nervous system function. Moreover, CELF proteins have also been shown to be involved in myotonic dystrophy, immune cell function and cancer pathogenesis. In this article, advances of both the biological roles of CELF family members, and their influences on human diseases are reviewed.
