Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of edaravone on acute cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Seventy eight cases of patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage were divided into control group and observation group according to the random table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group used conventional support treatment, while the observation group added edaravone on the basis of the conventional support treatment, the treatment effects, NO,SOD, LPO, GP levels before and after treatment and adverse reactions were compared in the two groups. Results After 12 d treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 94.87%, which was significantly higher than 76.92% of the control group(P〈0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in the NO, SOD, LPO, GP levels between the two groups(P〈0.05). After 12 d treatment, the NO, LPO levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, while SOD, GP levels were higher than those before treatment, those indexes in the observation group were better than the control group(P〈0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P〈0.05). Conclusion Edaravone has remarkable effect on acute cerebral hemorrhage, which can effectively clear away oxygen free radicals, and has less adverse reactions, it is worthy of clinical application.
