摘　　要：图书馆大跃进是中国现代图书馆史上不容忽视的重大事件,在图书馆理论与实践层面体现出那个年代的明显特征。利弊交织,评价殊为困难。但其"为工农兵服务"的图书馆精神,开门办馆、勤俭办馆的图书馆实践,图书馆人苦干实干加巧干的顽强意志,在图书馆史上留下了难以磨灭的印记,值得我们追寻、铭记,并在新的历史条件下使其全心全意为读者服务的基本精神得以传承和发扬。The Great Leap Forward in libraries was an important thing in modem history of libraries in china. It reflected the obvious characters in theory and practice of libraries. It＇ s hard to evaluated because of the mixture of pros and cons. The spirit of Serving for Workers, peasants and soldiers and the practice of Serving on the outside of libraries, Working industry and thrift in libraries have leaved deep imprints in the library history. These marks are worth inheriting and carrying forward in the new era.
