摘　　要：我国高校更名热度持续不减,主要分为更换高校名称不升格和升格且更换高校名称两种形式。高校更名成为一些高校寻求办学发展的路径依赖。一些高校出于战略规划调整的考虑进行更名,也不乏盲目跟风更名竞争资源现象。主要发达国家高校通过明晰的程序进行更名,更名高校相应进行教学改革以适应更名调整。建议我国进一步规范高校更名程序和更名标准,多方共同参与监督高校进行与更名相匹配的质量建设。Higher education institutions tend to change their names in China. Some changed their names without upgrading, and others changed names with upgrading. The act of renaming has become a path dependence for institutions to seek development. Some institutions took this action out of strategy adjustment, while some for resource competition in blind. In main developed countries, higher education institutions rename in accordance with clear procedures and accompanied by education reform. Some suggestions are as follows： clarifying procedures and standards of higher education institutions renaming and supervising correspond quality construction by various subjects.
