摘 要:民族语言是保持民族一体感和认同感的标志,一个民族的不同个体被共同的语言紧紧联系在一起,从而形成文化归属和民族认同,语言成为维系民族认同的基础之一。语言态度作为一种复杂的社会心理现象,深刻影响着一个民族的语言认同以及民族认同。通过对新疆维吾尔族大学生语言态度的调查,可以看出:维吾尔族大学生喜爱并忠诚于母语,对国家通用语的认同感相对较弱。影响维吾尔族大学生母语语言态度的因素有:父母亲对母语的语言态度、父母亲对国家通用语的语言态度。影响其对国家通用语语言态度的因素有性别、政治面貌、父母亲的语言态度、对汉语的称谓等。提升维吾尔族对国家通用语的认同感,就要在新疆推行双语教育政策、重视维吾尔族女童教育、加强维吾尔族大学生党员教育、巩固汉语作为国家通用语的地位。The language used by an ethnic group is a sign of their unity and identity. Individuals within an ethnic group are closely linked by their language,thus cultural belonging and ethnic identity are formed. As an important factor of self identity for ethnic members,language is one of the foundations to sustain an ethnic group's identity. As a complicated phenomenon of social psychology,language attitude exerts a great influence on an ethnic group's language identity and ethnic identity. An investigation of Xinjiang Uyghur Unitersities students' language attitudes shows that these students prefer their mother tongue to the national lingua franca. It also shows that the factors which influence their mother tongue attitudes are their parents' attitudes towards the mother tongue and the national lingua franca. The factors which influence the national lingua franca are gender,political status,parents' attitudes towards the national lingua franca and their understandings of the Chinese language. The investigation shows that Xinjiang Uyghur college students' attitudes towards their ethnic identity are more positive than their Chinese national identity. In order to improve the Chinese national identity of Xinjiang Uyghur college students,the paper suggests that the bilingual education policy should be promoted firmly in Xinjiang; the education of Uyghur female children should be valued; the education of Uyghur college students as party members should be taken account of and the status of the Chinese language as the national lingua franca should be strengthened. It is hoped that these suggestions could help to construct harmonious and mutually helpful ethnic relations in Xinjiang.
