摘　　要：从认知的角度来看,英语惯用语块的语义并不是完全由其内部各词单独使用时的词义的组合而成,它有其自身特殊的词汇语义特征。惯用语块词汇语义是可以分析和推导的;惯用语块的语义特征是多样化的,不是单一的,是可以得到解释的。了解惯用语块语义特征及其形成过程,对于帮助我们理解和掌握英语惯用语十分重要。From the point of cognition, the English idiom chucks, whose meaning can be analyzed and deduced, is not just com- posed of the meaning of each word in it, but has its own specific semantic features. The semantic features, which are multiple, not just one, can be illustrated. Leaning about the semantic features and their formation will be of a great significance to help us to understand and master English idiom chucks.
