摘 要:中国考古网的实践表明,正确运用新媒体平台普及学科文化,应该是公共考古发展的重要趋势。考古学家面对的公众有不同的文化层次和不同需求,公共考古不妨既奏交响乐也唱流行歌,其目的不是为了使"冷僻"的考古学家成为被粉丝热捧的文化名人,不是为了仅仅满足"古墓里是否有僵尸"之类的好奇,而是为了让公众了解考古学家用手铲辛苦发掘出的关于我们的祖先、我们的文明的知识,感受只有考古资料才能带来的对我们灿烂文明的真切体验和心灵震撼,激发出公众对文化遗产的自豪、自信和珍爱。The practice of Chinese Archaeology website shows that new media will play a crucial role in the develop- ment of public archaeology. The "public" archaeologists facing consists of different "levels" with different needs. Hence public archaeology can be both symphony and pop songs. Anyway, the purpose of public archaeology should not be to make lonely archaeologists to be super-starts with crazy fans, or to answer the public curiosities such as "if there are zombies in ancient tombs ". Instead, successful public archaeology should aim to provide real knowledge of our ancestors and civilization dug out by the dirty spades of archaeologists, and to touch their hearts by the "real ancient world" that only archaeological data can exhibits, and to rise their pride, self-confidence as well as true love of their own cultural heritage.
