摘　　要：目前,英语专业泛读课堂仍存在着以教师为主导,学生被动学习,课堂教学质量不高等问题。如今,终身学习成为主导理念,培养学生小组自主合作学习能力是当今时代的要求,也是社会发展的需求。本文主要分析小组自主合作学习在英语专业阅读教学中的应用,泛读教学中,以学生为主,教师为辅,旨在提高泛读课堂教学质量,已达到泛读课的目的。At present, extensive reading class for English major remains facing the following problems such as the teachers＇ domination in classroom, the students＇ passive learning, and the low teaching quality. Today lifelong learning has become the dominant philosophy. It is necessary to cultivate the students＇ ability of group independent-cooperation study for the development of the era and the society. The pa- per is mainly to analyze the application of the group independent-cooperative study in the extensive reading teaching. In the extensive reading class, the students tend to be the centre and the teachers are the supplement, aiming at improving the classroom teaching quality of extensive reading.
