摘 要:当前中国式英语教学实践遭遇到前所未有的困惑与尴尬:英语的交流工具性能被忽视;英语教学中人文性的缺失;英汉双边关系的失衡。对此,中国式英语教育问题解决方案主要有五点:强化英语的语言工具性,改变英语应试制度;取消小学及学前英语教育,实行初中英语"娱乐化"、高中英语"通用化";大学英语教育"专业化",研究生英语"职业化";中国英语教育要坚持工具性与人文性的和谐统一;坚持英语教育的合法地位,还母语汉语以应有的地位。Current Chinese characteristic English education is faced with unprecedented perplexities and diffi- culties. There is an absence of awareness concerning the instrumental functionality and humanistic values of Eng- lish. The relation of English and Chinese is imbalanced. Therefore, a five-approach solution is crucial for Chinese English education: emphasizing the instrumental functionality of English, revising the exam system; abolishing pri- mary school and pre-school English education; implementing "fun learning" reform in junior school English educa- tion and "general purpose" reform in high school English education; specializing college English education and professionalizing post graduate English education; consolidating the harmony of instrument values and humanistic values of Chinese English education; acknowledging the legitimate position of English education and restoring the position of Chinese language education it deserves.
