摘　　要：从Langacker的弹子球模型对英语主动、被动以及中动三种语态进行讨论,得出如下结论:主动语态的焦点关注在施事者、受事者以及能量转移的正向流动;被动语态关注受事者以及能量的逆向流动;中动语态则关注受事者在动作链发生后产生的变化。This paper aims to analyze the three voices： Active voice, Passive voice and Middle Construction （MC） through the Billiard Ball Model proposed by Langacker. The conclusion can be achieved as：Active voice focuses on the agent, the receiver and the energy transmission; Passive voice deals with the receiver and the energy transmission ; MC is related to the condition or characteristics of the receiver.
