摘　　要：古代湘西苗族地区书院的创建不仅实现了民族文化与儒家文化的和谐共生,也得到官民的积极参与,同时更是达成了社会治理与教育发展的良好格局,一定程度上实现了和谐价值目标。究其原因,古代湘西苗族地区书院创建契合了当地的客观环境条件,满足了当时各方面的利益需求,更为重要的是,其顺应了当时当地湘西苗族文化进步发展的思想趋势。The creation of the ancient Miao area of Xiangxi academy not only realized the national culture and the Confucian culture of harmony,has also been actively involved in the government and the people,but also reached a good pattern of social governance and the development of education,to a certain extent to achieve the value of harmony. The reason, the ancient Xiangxi Miao Nationality Academy created with objective local environmental conditions, to meet the interests of the demand,more importantly,it conforms to the trend of thought of the local Miao culture in Xiangxi＇s progress at that time.
