摘　　要：胡锦涛生态文明建设思想是科学发展观在生态建设领域的重要体现。它的生成有着深厚的历史文化渊源、坚实的理论基石和迫切的现实诉求。胡锦涛生态文明建设思想内容丰富，至今指导着中国特色社会主义生态文明建设的实践，并产生了重大的理论意义和实践意义。Hu Jintao＇ s thought of ecological civilization construction is an important embodiment of scientific outlook on development in field of ecological construction. The creation of this thought has a profound historical and cultural origins, a solid theoretical foundation and urgent realistic demands. Hu Jintao＇ s ideological construction of ecological civilization is rich in content, guiding the practice of building socialism with Chinese characteristics so far, and has produced great theoretical and practical significance.
