摘　　要：诺贝尔文学奖得主威廉·福克纳独具匠心地塑造了一批另类的父亲形象,这些父亲或罪孽深重、或冷漠自私、或强权蛮横,他们是社会之恶及人性之丑的体现者。通过对传统父亲形象的倾覆破坏式刻画,福克纳展示出人类精神的异化和心灵的扭曲。通过透视畸形的父亲形象,从而揭示出社会弊端对人类的戕害,表达了对人类劣根性的思索,对精神信仰的探求,对美国南方变革的关注,以及对人类命运的忧虑。Nobel Prize winner William Faulkner elaborately creates a number of alternative father images, which are sinful, inhospitaliW, selfish, powerful or stroppy, and which are the embodiment of social evil and ugliness of humanity. Through the subversive depiction of traditional father images, Faulkner shows the alienation of the.human spirit and soul. Through deformed father images, he reveals the bad impact of social evil, expresses the speculation about human evil, the quest for spirituality, the concern about United States South revolution, as well as the worry about the fate of mankind.
