摘 要:在儒家与基督教会通视域下,孟子与保罗在各自传统当中地位相当,都表现出一种超出民族种族界限的普世情怀,以及在反对异端捍卫真道中救民于水火之中的躬行实践。但是囿于不同的文化背景,二人对生死之关怀又呈现出不同的视角与言说方式,在思维理路与关注旨趣等方面有着迥异之风格。条分缕析孟子与保罗生死关怀之异同,对于深入研究先秦儒家与早期基督教生死智慧的会通具有重要意义。Mencius and Paul are of the same importance from the perspective of communication of Confucianism and Christianity. Both of them have universal feelings which go beyond race and nation,physically conducting themselves in defending the truth so as to save people from troubles. However,due to their different cultural backgrounds,they vary in perspectives and expressions for life and death,as well as in thinking patterns and focuses. To make a detailed analysis on the similarities and differences of their care for life and death is of great significance to the further study about communication between pre-Qin Confucianism and early Christianism.
