The 2017 Yucatan International Book Festival Was Inaugurated

摘　　要：On March 11th, the sixth Yucatan International Book Festival had a grand opening in Merida, the capital of Yucatan state, Mexico. Qiu Xiaoqi, Chinese Ambassador to Mexico; Zhuang Lixiao, Cultural Counselor; Rolando Zapata Bello, governor of the State of Yucatan, and many other personnel from both sides and 3,000 local citizens attended the opening ceremony. The event was widely covered by Chinese and Mexican mainstream media. The year of 2017 is also the Year of Chinese Culture in Mexico.
