添加中药对古籍修裱浆糊性能影响的初步研究

摘　　要：浆糊作为古籍修裱的特殊材料,其性能优劣直接关系到修裱的质量。目前,古籍修裱存在浆糊易霉变以及化学药剂常被添加至浆糊中会污染环境和古籍本体等诸多问题。为最大限度地提高古籍修裱浆糊质量,本文结合文献记载中药的种类和添加量,依据中药成分及药理作用,特性及成分,选取百部、苦参等富含生物碱的中药为研究对象,从添加中药前后浆糊的抑菌性、黏度、酸度、外观变化等方面探讨中药对古籍修裱浆糊性能的影响。结果表明,巴豆、黄柏和苦参改善浆糊的抑菌性、黏度和裱件的柔韧性等效果较为理想,且酸度与纯浆糊最为接近,但会改变浆糊和裱件的外观,因而该类中药作为浆糊添加剂应注意脱色或控制使用量。此外,石灰末可提高浆糊的酸度,其他单味或复方中药的添加均会降低浆糊的酸度,尤以中药白矾最为显著。因此,从古籍保护的长远考虑,修裱浆糊中添加中药的类型应慎重选取。The performance of paste directly affects the quality of ancient books mounting. At present, there are many problems in the process of ancient books mounting. For example, paste gets mouldy easily, and more and more people are adding chemicals to the paste, which pollutes environment and ancient books. In order to improve the quality of paste to the greatest extent, traditional Chinese medicines rich in alkaloids are selected as the research objects as far as mounting paste is concerned. The performance of paste, such as antibacterial effect, viscosity, acidity and color, is studied in this paper. The results show that Croton, Phellodendron amurense and Sophora flavescens have the best effect in improving antibacterial property, viscosity of paste and strength of repairing paper, yet their acidity might change the color of paste and thus ancient books. As a result, this kind of Chinese medicine should be decolorized or be controlled of the amount. Besides, all Chinese medicine except calcareousness decreases acidity of paste studied in this paper, with potassium alum the most obvious one. Therefore, the quality of traditional Chinese medicine should be selecteded cautiously, with the purpose of protecting ancient books in the long run.
