慕课背景下的军医大学生物化学英语ESP课程构建研究

摘　　要：慕课(MOOC)热带来了在线课程的新体验,学生就此有了提高学术英语能力的迫切要求,同时给高等教育大力倡导的专用英语(ESP)发展创造了难得的机遇。本文简述了慕课和ESP的基本概念、特点及影响,以军医大学的生物化学英语教学为例,从教学内容、教学方式、考核方式等方面探讨了目前生物化学英语教学的现状,提出了生物化学英语ESP课程建设的相关对策,建议选择贴近学习者需求的慕课课程、分阶段有侧重进行专业学术英语技能培训,此举将有助于慕课课程模式下ESP教学改革的开展,促进国际化人才的培养。With the hot trend of massive open online courses（MOOC）, learners have the urgent needs to improve their academic English by acquiring the MOOC. This provides a great opportunity for developing the English for special purpose（ESP） which is prompted by the higher education. We first introduce the concept, feature and impact of MOOC and ESP briefly. By taking English teaching in biochemistry in military medical university as an example, based on the past and current experience and problems existed in our university in terms of teach- ing contents, teaching methods and testing model, we put forward some solutions to build a new system of ESP in- stuction of Biochemistry. We suggest that in this teaching model, teachers should choose MOOC resources closely satisfied with students＂ need and train their academic English language skills step by step, which can facilitate teaching reform featured by MOOC and ESP and nurture more qualified talents in international affairs.
