Objective:To study the correlation of ultrasonic shear wave velocity(SWV)with cancer cell growth and intralesional angiogenesis in patients with primary liver cancer. Methods:Patients who were diagnosed with primary liver cancer in Xuzhou Central Hospital were selected, and real-time shear wave elastography was conducted to determine the ultrasonic shear wave velocity;liver cancer lesions and adjacent lesions were collected to determine the expression of tumor suppressor genes, proliferation genes and angiogenesis genes.Results:PICK1,Merlin,PTEN and FN protein expression in liver cancer lesions were significantly lower than those in adjacent lesions, while STC2,N-cadherin,Bcl-2,CyclinD1,E2 F,Gli2,VEGFA,MMP9 and Ang-2protein expression were significantly higher than those in adjacent lesions;liver cancer SWV was negatively correlated with PICK1,Merlin,PTEN and FN protein expression, and positively correlated with STC2,N-cadherin,Bcl-2,CyclinD1,E2 F,Gli2,VEGFA,MMP9 and Ang-2protein expression. Conclusion:The increase of SWV in patients with primary liver cancer is closely related to the cancer cell growth activity and the increase of angiogenesis.
