摘 要:小说图像研究具有广阔的前景,与小说艺术、小说版本、小说文体等研究共同构成古代小说研究的价值内涵。展望未来的研究图景,我们应该厘清三个层面的关系:在本体层面,取"旧传统小说"与"新概念图像"之交集,重新界定研究对象,回归历史语境与本土立场理解"小说","图像"则涵盖纸质图像、器物图像与影视图像;在内涵层面,分"小说图像"与"图像小说"之体系,贯通文学、艺术学等不同学科领域,既研究小说中的图像,也研究图像化的小说;在学理层面,辨"书画同源"与"图说互著"之义理,理性认识小说与图像之关系,一方面承认文字与图画的符号性使小说图像成为可能,另一方面坚持小说对图像的主导作用与决定性地位。The study of novel image has a broad prospect in that it can work along with certain directions like the art of novel,version study,style study,and co-construct the connotation of ancient novel studies.While looking out for the blueprint,three dimensions should be noticed.In the dimension of ontology,the conjunction of traditional novel and new concept of image is highlighted and the research object is redefined for the revisit of historical and local context.And the scope of image covers that of paper,utensil and video.In the dimension of connotation,various disciplines can fall into the system of "novel's image"and the system of "imagery novel."In the theoretical dimension,theories of "homology of writing and painting " and "mutual illustrating of text and image " are thoroughly explained.It recognizes that the symbolism of character and image make the novel's image possible.Meanwhile it insists that novel has a dominant and guiding role over image.
