摘　　要：目前英语教学暴露出一系列的问题,学生积极性不高,毕业后应用能力相对较差等,在很大程度上影响到英语教学的实效性。本文在阐述高职英语教学的现状,分析其中存在的主要问题的基础上,提出相应策略,以期为提高高职英语教学实效性提供指导和借鉴。English teaching has revealed a series of problems, such as students’ lack of learning motivation and poor performance in English, etc. which to a great extent, affect the effectiveness of English teaching. On the basis of the elaboration of the present situation of English teaching in vocational colleges and the analysis of the main existing problems, this paper puts forward the corresponding strategies for reference, so as to improve the effectiveness of higher vocational English teaching.
