Objective To observe the effects of the cognitive behavioral therapy on postoperative cognitive ability of breast cancer patients with adjuvant chemotherapy. Methods 60 breast cancer patients with adjuvant chemotherapy in our department from January to December 2015 were randomly selected as research objects. They were divided into the control group(30cases)and the experimental group(30cases).Both groups received conventional treatment, while the experimental group received extra training of the cognitive behavioral therapy.MoCA was adopted to respectively test the cognitive ability of these two groups of patients before and after chemotherapy. Results The differences between the control group and the experimental group in terms of age, educational level, pathological stages, the cognitive ability before chemotherapy and other indicators were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The MoCA score of patients in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group with comparative differences in terms of number, memory ability, attention ability and executive capacitive were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The cognitive behavioral therapy can effectively improve the postoperative cognitive ability of breast cancer patients with adjuvant chemotherapy.
