文化视角下英文政治演讲的翻译--以奥巴马就职演说为例

摘　　要：政治演讲是英美国家日常政治生活不可或缺的一部分,成功的政治演讲往往由演讲者提前拟好,所以其具备口语和书面语的双重特征。英文政治演讲体现着英美文化的方方面面,因此英文政治演讲的翻译研究对翻译实践和跨文化交际都有非常重要的意义。作为英美政治演讲的代表作,奥巴马的就职演说及其中译本都很好地体现了其中的文化现象,其中的翻译技巧也为翻译学习者提供了学习范例,同时也可以在一定程度上提高学习者的演讲、写作以及交流的能力。Successful English political speeches,which are usually composed by the most excellent speakers in advance,are an inseparable part in American political life. Therefore,they possess the characteristics of both written and spoken forms. What＇s more,the speeches are the shadows of the American daily and political life.The research relating to English political speeches is of great importance to translation practice and cross-cultural communication. This paper takes Obama＇s victory speech as the representative to analyze the cultural phenomena and translation strategies of English political speeches,which will be a guide for those who are committed to translation. Furthermore,it is expected to be helpful for those who want to improve the ability in English speeches,writing and communication as well.
