美国外语教育战略演变对我国的启示和借鉴价值

摘　　要：美国外国语教育把自己国家的利益放在首位,主要目的是为了在政治、经济、军事等方面凸显自己国家的重要性,统治全球经济。美国当前的外国语教育发展现状并不乐观,外国语的教育效果并不理想,甚至在很多时候,稀缺的外国语的人才根本满足不了当前的社会需要,成为美国目前亟待解决的一个教育问题,同时也是社会问题。造成这样被动局面的原因是传统文化的祸患顽疾很明显要承担相应的责任和代价。探讨美国外语教育发展的过程,对我国教育发展是十分必要和有意义的。American foreign language education puts its national interests in the frst place with the main purpose of highlighting the importance of its own country politically, economically and militarily and dominating the global economy. However, the present development situation of American foreign language education is not optimistic, the foreign language education effect is not ideal neither. The scarce foreign language talents even cannot meet the current social needs, which has become an educational and social problem to be urgently solved at present. The reasons for this passive situation is that the chronic illness of traditional culture should be obviously responsible for the corresponding responsibilities and costs. It is necessary and meaningful for the educational development in our country to explore the development process of American foreign language education.
