摘　　要：关于院校研究的研究在我国已有一段时间,但国内院校研究本身的效能却并无彰显。这很可能源于实操性借鉴的不足,而个案分析不失为一个好的补充。以院校研究开展较好的美国高校——印第安纳大学作为个案,分析院校研究办公室运作的具体措施,探讨院校研究协会的运作情况及近来组织所取得的实际成效,应可镜鉴我国院校研究更"接地气"的纵深推进。Institutional research has been researched in China for a period of time, but the efficiency of the research itself is not obviously shown. It is probably due to the lack of practical reference, and case analysis might be a good make - up. Researching good university or college example in the United States, choosing Indiana University as a ease, the specific measures of the office operation were analysed and the working patterns of the association and its actual results were discussed, so as to enlighten the development of domestic institutional research more practically.
