摘  要:苯甲酸乙酯的制备是大学基础有机化学实验之一,一般采用浓硫酸做催化剂,苯或环己烷做共沸剂,通过共沸蒸馏带走反应中生成的水,促使酯化反应进行。苯是剧毒溶剂且具有致癌性,环己烷本身也有毒性且一般是通过苯催化加氢制得。为了建立苯甲酸乙酯的绿色化制备方法,采用低毒的乙酸乙酯代替苯和环己烷作为共沸剂,提高了反应效率,缩短了反应时间,且简化了实验后处理程序,取得了良好的教学效果。The preparation of ethyl benzoate, in which concentrated sulfuric acid is used as catalyst and benzene or cyclohexane as water-carrying agent, is one of the classic organic synthetic experi- ments. This esterification reaction was promoted via the removal of water generated by azeotropic distil- lation. However, benzene and cyclohexane are highly toxic solvents and benzene has a potential carci- nogenicity to humans, while cyclohexane usually prepared by catalytic hydrogenation of benzene. In or- der to establish a green synthesis of ethyl benzoate, benzene and cyclohexane were replaced by ethyl acetate used as water-carrying agent in this work. This method has the advantages of high catalytic effi- ciency, convenient work-up and green synthesis. It has gained good educational effects.
