摘　　要：How+Adj.+S.+Link-v.感叹句是英语感叹句中一种常见句式,主要表达的是感叹者为某一外部事物的某种(些)属性特征所引起或为整个事物所激发的某种强烈情感。本文基于How+Adj.+S.+Link-v.感叹句的结构形式和语义特征的观察与理解,拟从语言涉身性视角,阐释How+Adj.+S.+Link-v.感叹句语言表征的模态感知基础及其感受质问题,从而揭示语言层面背后人们心智活动的规律。How ＋ Adj. ＋ S. ＋ Link-v. , one of the most common exclamatory sentence constructs, originates from the speak- ers＇ perceptual and embodied experience of the sensed objects, expresses their feelings and highlights some properties of the objects. Based on the observation of its syntax and semantics, the paper attempts to analyze and interpret its modal perceptual basis and its qualia for language representation from a perspective of language embodiment, with the purpose to interpret the cognitive and mental processes that go beyond language in human mind.
