Objective To explore the effects of different characteristics of intramural myoma on spontaneous delivery. Methods A total of 964 cases of spontaneous delivery who established their medical files in Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University from June 2013 to December 2014 were selected, then they were divided into myoma group(482 pregnant women with intramural myoma) and control group(482 pregnant women without myoma). The major characteristics of intramural myoma during early pregnancy under B-ultrasound,progress of delivery, vaginal bleeding, and neonatal conditions were recorded. Results There was no statistically significant difference in progress of delivery, estimated blood loss, and neonatal conditions between the two groups(all P〈0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in progress of delivery, estimated blood loss, and neonatal conditions between the pregnant women in myoma group with different numbers, sizes, and locations of intramural myoma and control group(all P〈0.05).Conclusion Intramural myoma has no significant effect on spontaneous delivery. The number, sizes, and locations of intramural myoma have no significant impact on spontaneous delivery.
