摘　　要：省属理工类院校所具有的行业背景和学科专长,只在其优势专业领域具有较大的影响力,对文科性质的MPA办学的助力有限,加之身处众多文科优势高校的包围之中,面临更多的是劣势和挑战。面对MPA教育针对性和适应性强的特点,省属理工类MPA培养院校应该抓住机遇,突出特色,锻造师资,完善管理,塑造MPA教育的品牌和影响力。Provincial science and engineering universities have their own professional background and area of specialization which have influence only in professional f ie ld . As to liberal M P A education, these universities face with great deal of challenges from those with advantage in liberal arts education. M P A education has its owncharacteristic,such as pertinent and wel l-adapted, therefore provincial science and engineering universities should grasp the opportunity, stress on feature, cultivate teachers, improve management, so as to step up the engage-ment in MPA education.
