摘　　要：文化传承与创新是大学的重要职能。而文化自信则是发挥这一职能的基础和前提。任何一所大学要想迈向更高水平,都必须具有坚定的文化自信。在现代大学的发展历程中,中国大学属于后生晚辈,更需要在文化自信的基础上实现自我超越,从而逐步达到世界先进水平。Cultural inheritance and innovation were important functions of universities. And cultural self-confidence was the basis and premise of this function. Every university must had a firm cultural self-confidence in order to move to a higher level. In the course of the development of modern universities, Chinese universities belonged to the younger generation, and they needed to achieve self transcendence on the basis of cultural self-confidence, so as to gradually reach the advanced level in the world.
