摘　　要：制造企业的知识搜寻方式对其渐进式和突破式创新的选择具有重要影响,而企业自身的吸收能力和知识冗余程度则对以上关系具有不同的作用方式。本文以知识基础观和双元创新理论为理论基础,以228家制造类企业为样本,运用相关分析和多元线性回归对跨界知识搜寻和本地知识搜寻影响渐进式和突破式创新选择的作用机制进行实证分析。研究结果表明,本地知识搜寻对渐进式创新具有显著正向影响,对突破式创新没有显著影响,吸收能力对以上显著关系具有正向调节作用;跨界知识搜寻对渐进式和突破式创新均具有促进作用,但与知识冗余的交互不利于促进企业渐进式创新,与吸收能力的交互同样不利于企业的渐进式创新,但有利于企业进行突破式创新。以上结论对指导中国制造类企业在不同知识冗余和吸收能力水平下选择正确的创新模式具有一定指导作用。With the advent of era of globalization and knowledge economy, innovation is becoming an increas- ingly important source of building core competition ability for enterprises. Innovation process is characterized as un- certainty and complexity, while in the period of economic transition in China, the enterprises have to get sufficient resources for sustainable innovation. For this reason, how to obtain the knowledge resources for innovation is the key to restrict enterprise innovation activities under such backgrounds. From the aspect of knowledge acquisition, there are two ways of knowledge acquisition： cross-border knowledge search and local knowledge search. At the same time, according to the degree of novelty, innovation can also be divided into two types： incremental innova- tion and radical innovation. What is the internal influencing mechanism of two kinds of knowledge search methods on incremental and radical innovation？ This innovation mechanism of the firms should be further explored by schol- ars and practitioners. From the view of knowledge foundation, knowledge is the most basic and important resource for enterprises to carry out innovation. The sources of knowledge are acquired through the integration of the basic information and el- ements inside and outside the organization. Therefore, different knowledge search methods have different impacts on the acquisition of knowledge resources, and then affect the choice of innovation model. The dual balance theory holds that incremental innovation and radical innovation should be balanced, but the resources needed by the two innovation methods are different. Therefore, there is a close theoretical logic relationship between the knowledge base view and the dual source innovation theory.
