摘　　要：以闽江学院开设的《高分子材料基础》双语课程教学的实际情况为案例,论述了地方性新建本科院校双语教学的可行性和必要性,并结合高分子材料与工程专业的特点,论述了《高分子材料基础》双语课程在课程设置,教材选择,教学方法,师资力量等方面的思考和实践,提出了在高等院校开展专业课双语教学的建议,以期推动双语教学的进一步发展,促进国际型和应用型人才的培养。Based on the bilingual teaching of Foundation of Polymer Materials,the necessity and feasibility of bilingual teaching in local newly established university were discussed. The studies on the faculty,teaching materials and teaching methods,combining with the characteristics of polymer materials and engineering,were introduced. It was aimed to provide the enlightment on the reform of the bilingual teaching and promote the further development of the bilingual teaching.
