摘 要:本文基于农民工户口登记地差异,实证分析地域身份对农民工工资的影响。研究结果表明,外来农民工工资存在明显的"地域效应",东部外来农民工在工资报酬和工资歧视方面的优势十分明显,户籍地在工资条件分布的各分位数上对中部和西部外来农民工工资均具有显著的消极影响,工资歧视的"地域效应"与工资分位数有关。因此,促进城乡劳动者平等就业和农民工城市融合,应尽量消除地域身份对农民工就业的不利影响。By dividing migrant workers into three categories- migrant workers from the eastern region, migrant workersfrom the middle region and migrant workers from the western region-this paper conducts an empirical study about the impactof household registration region on the wage of migrant workers. The results show that migrant workers from the eastern regionobviously enjoy advantages in wage and wage discrimination, while migrant workers from the central and western regions areobviously discriminated. Migrant workers from the central and western regions are paid lower in all the quantile intervals, butthe “regional effect” of wage discrimination is related to the quantile of wage distribution. Therefore, we must tr^^ hard to eliminatethe adverse effects of the “regional effect” on the employment of migrant workers in order to promote urban integration ofmigrant workers and equal employment of urban and rural workers.
