摘　　要：英语写作能力是英语教学中重点强调的一个核心技能。当前国内高校英语专业的英语写作教学仍存在不少问题。学生英语写作能力的提高是一个长期的循序渐进的过程。在英语写作教学内容的安排上,要有针对性和实效性的训练,进一步夯实学生的英语语言基本功,提高学生的篇章意识、修辞意识和文化意识,培养学生的逻辑思维能力。在教学过程中,教师应组织、启发、引导和监督学生完成相关任务导向的教学内容,以实现从以教师为主向以学生为主的教学模式的真正转变。English writing ability is a core skill emphasized in English teaching. There still exist many problems in the present teaching of English writing for college English major in China. It is a long progressive process to improve students,English writing skill. In the design of teaching content for English writing, targeted and efficient training is necessary, which involves consolidation of students 9 basic skills of the English language, improvement of students ＊ consciousness in text, rhetoric and culture, and cultivation of students5 logical thinking skills. In the teaching process, the teacher should organize, enlighten, guide and supervise students,completion of the related goal - directed teaching content, in the hope of realizing the real transformation from the teacher - centered to the students - centered teaching mode.
