摘　　要：本研究探讨了概念隐喻在英语习语学习中发挥的重要作用,通过源喻向目标喻的映射,建立了概念隐喻和习语之间的桥梁,阐述了概念隐喻理论并分析其共同认知域,认为英语习语的学习过程中,概念隐喻能够加深学生对目的语知识的理解,是理解英语习语乃至语言的有益补充。This study explores the important role of conceptual metaphor in the study of English idioms. A bridge of conceptual metaphor and idiomatic meaning is established by cross-domain mapping of metaphorical metaphor. By describing conceptual metaphor theory and analyzing the shared cognitive domain, the study shows that in the course of English learning, students can deepen their understanding of the target language by a mastery of conceptual metaphor, which proves to contribute to a sound understanding of English idioms.
